Diagnose
The building is read before it is priced — cladding, roofing, gutters, junctions, movement and water paths.
We walk the building with the people who live with the problem and, where the evidence points, open up the affected area rather than treating the visible staining. Where they help, moisture readings, junction photographs and access constraints are recorded, so the quote rests on observed conditions rather than assumption.
Resolve
Materials, substrate, fixing detail and access strategy are planned before work begins.
Panel selection, substrate, fixing centres and key junctions are set out, with drawings or marked-up details where the scope calls for them, and agreed with the client before materials are ordered. Applicable compliance requirements, manufacturer conditions and the access method are considered in the same pass. An installation detail is only resolved when it can be carried out safely using the planned access method.
Install
The work is sequenced on site and the finish is checked while corrections are still simple.
Trades are sequenced around how the building is occupied, and access arrangements are agreed with the building manager or occupants beforehand where practical. Workmanship is checked at key stages rather than only at completion. Any departure from the agreed scope or installation detail is raised with the client promptly, before further work is affected.
Protect
Handover is treated as part of the job: outstanding items reviewed, documents organised and maintenance guidance provided.
At handover we review outstanding items with the client and provide the relevant product information, photographs and maintenance guidance for the completed work. Applicable manufacturer warranties and contract warranty information are provided where relevant. Clients can contact ALTUA with questions about the completed work after handover.
